I found am out of the way spot I decided to take a chance on. I had to drag my little trolling motor powered boat over a couple dykes and through a lot of toolies to get there. I got sat up and there were ducks and some geese flying everywhere. Some of the days highlights were I landed a flock of 20 teal, and I should have had 7 drakes of 7 species but I missed a nice widgeon that landed right in the decoys and a green head. After I got my limit the ducks stopped flying completely. I had a guy bust through all of those toolies with his surface drive motor looking for ducks. He was looking for where all the shooting was coming from. I said I had no idea. There wasn't a duck in sight at this time. As soon as he left, ducks were everywhere again. I'm still quite bothered at the behavior I have seen in the marsh this year. But it was still a great day.

A BAD DAY AT THE MARSH BEATS A GOOD DAY AT WORK.
