A few more for the collection

Postby Factor 8 » Tue Dec 11, 2012 7:28 pm

I highly recommend NOT becoming a collector of waterfowl. Its an obsession that is unstoppable. Here are two new birds to add to my collection. I have waited 23 months for them to get mounted up and let me tell you they are worth the wait! Done by one of the best here in the state of Utah.

Ya I shot 4 of them while up there. That's the limit for non residents. Hardest duck I've ever shot at. I'm sure the 40+ mph wind had something to do with it...

I've got my squaw mounted and behind glass. Grant did that bird.

I wouldn't take chances on cheap priced taxidermists with these two trophies. They are true works of art. A Squaw, Harli, and a King are all on my bucket list in that order. Bad thing is it's a little too expensive to have it happen for a very very long time. Nice mounts!

That's all I've heard about the King. I wonder why that is?

it has to be what they eat..... look at what a spoon bill eats.... they sure taste like crap. I know kings will dive over 75 feet to eat mussles, star fish and other aquatic things on the ocean floor.
