Worth taking to the taxiderm?

Shot this golden eye and wonderinf if i should take it or wait to try to get a better one? I am working on my collection of every duck in utah to have a drake and hen of the species

Wash the blood of as best as you can and put it in the freezer and i think it would make a nice mount.

Put it in the freezer in nylons, no joke then wait till the end of the season and if you don't get another one get it mounted, also try using dawn soap to clean off the blood.

Looks wall worthy to me, as long as you didn't break up the wings. I love GE's

Any professional taxidermist will get the blood out with no trouble-blood stains should never prevent you from getting a bird mounted! Also no need to massacre the wife's nylon supply. Roll him in plain paper (no dye or ink) and place him in a plastic bag and into the freezer. As was already stated, you can updrade as the season progresses-you can even take several to the taxidermist and ask him to select the best specimen-
