trouble

Postby meekhunter7 » Sat Dec 29, 2012 11:13 pm

I found this spot with a river running through it and the river spreads into a bunch of little arms and it is a little marshy. Ducks and geese are always on it but it is flat for 100 yards in all directions, this makes it hard to jump shoot and there is not cover to hide. The grass in the area is short and there are no bushes. There is one wire fence that goes through it but that is all, any ideas on how to get them? I think they would decoy well if i was just hidden well enough. Thanks!

Go to Walmart and Buy Two Twin White Sheets at 5 Bucks a piece.

Go out early and set up. Use your decoy bags as bedding and make your self a snow blind. Cut up one of the sheets and make a hole in the middle with arm holes. Cut off some excess and make a face wrap. (If you have snow Camo then you may only need one sheet to hide your outline).

When you hunt like this, the most important thing is to not move until you are ready to shoot.

Last year we didn't have snow, so I stomped my muddy boots on the sheets to blend in with the ice.
