To shoot or not to shoot

Postby Benelli12ga » Mon Dec 31, 2012 12:49 pm

A buddy and i went to hunt ducks on a river by his house and he feels that its perfectly ok to shoot the ducks while their still on the water and I told him that you should at least give them the chance to fly, besides I feel it's funnier that way, what are your thoughts?

The only time i ever had the problem of ducks not flying was when a big fat greenhead landed in my decoys and i stood up to scare him up and i had to yell at him to get up and out of my dekes!!

Make sure they are the kind that can fly first. I'd hate to shoot someone's pets. Been there before
