Does anyone know how the bird numbers are up there? Heading up in the morning with my bro to try out the handicap blind.

I hunted that blind with my dad earlier this season and there was hardly any water in front of it. I'd dare say you'll be hunting a frozen wasteland there. Give the refuge a call and ask them the conditions. and :welcome:

The water to the east of the blind will frozen and the channel to the south might be open I wouldn't waste my time but that's just me.

Thanks for the info guys. But we're preety limited to where we can hunt. My brother has ms and doesn't get around to well. If we don't see to many birds we will have a good b.s session. Thanks again I appreciate it.

Josh,

I would be happy to take you and your brother out in my boat next year. Too much ice this year but let's get out next season. There are a couple places where we can wheel him to the boat and lift him in.

Hunting is much more then shooting birds and I love your perspetive!

Thanks for the offer I will talk to him and see if he would like that. He can still walk just not very far. His reaction time is a little slower now to. We did manage a few ducks the other day up there but it is preety much locked up.
