hunt this morning

Postby simpleyork » Thu Jan 10, 2013 3:17 pm

head edout with my oldest to see how the shooting was going to be this morning.
As we were setting up the decoys(me i mean me, he was supervising)
another hunter came up so I invited him to set up with us. He did and added a jerk cord to the spread that he kindly let me son use.
The hunting went well, within 18 minutes we had 6 ducks between the two shooters. And man were they not scared of us. Anyway later on some more hunters started setting up in the area that the birds were decoying in so invited them to join us as we didn't want to have any accidents happening, sides, the more the merrier. we had a large group of pinnies come in that we all took turns missing. It was fun to meet new people and be able to have such a great time. I had to take off with my boy just before nine. I hope they had a good hunt after we left.

Looks and sounds like a good time! Seems like your boy is becoming quite the hunting buddy.
