Meet and Greet

Postby hamernhonkers » Fri Feb 01, 2013 8:50 pm

I am not sure how many would be interested in one but I thought I would get your guys thoughts on this. Of course I am not even sure when my next venture up to SLC will be but I was thinking it would be fun to try to find a day before next season and have a forum get together. I know there are a bunch of you guys on here I would like to meet. I would prefer it be in a blind but I would be good with a evening at a pizza place.

Thoughts??????

Wow only 5 so far

I thought we would have a few more by now. For me to be able to make it I will have to plan on one of my work trips. I should be heading up that way in the next couple of months. Any thoughts on where would be a good place to meet up?

Lots of places we could meet. Want to do a lunch time thing? Evening? Weekend? Weekday? Hamernhonkers, what dates are you looking at for your trip up north? Let me know and I'll get some ideas on locations.

Right now its looking like april is when I will be up for work meetings. Just don't have a set date yet.

As far as a place you guys will have to make suggestions as I really don't go anywhere when I am up that way so I have no clue on the best places to meet.

Hamernhonkers' next trip up to the Wasatch Front will most likely be sometime towards the end of April. Spread the word. As plans become more solidified, I'll look for some locations and we'll figure out a time. Thinking about somewhere around the Maverick Center.

It may a bit longer drive than some want to make, but there is a pretty nice sporting clays, skeet, trap course just West of Logan. We could meet up there, have a little friendly shoot-off and then head back down the canyon and eat at Maddox.

Just throwing out a suggestion. Although hamerenhonkers may be intimidated by my vast shooting prowess and this may prevent him from voting for this option.

That would be a blast. There is also Lee Kay on the west side of the Salt Lake valley if nobody wants to come that far north. I'm game with either place. :grooving:

I love the suggestions but for me this is much more suited for a personal trip as opposed to a business trip as business trips for me are pretty tightly scheduled with only evenings free to do anything.

Yea Lee Kay is another good option and is more centrally located for those boys coming from the South. I'm open for anything.
