Salt Creek WMA Service Project

Postby Gonegoosin » Sat Mar 30, 2013 9:06 am

The managers of Salt Creek WMA are in need of our help once again. On Saturday April 6th, beginning at 8 am, volunteers are needed to assist with transplanting vegetation onto the islands. The primary watercraft for this project will be airboats. However; there will be a need for up to 4 MM’s to help transport people back and forth. The DWR will provide a backhoe to help keep the materials loose for transporting. This is a great opportunity to give back, and help the future of nesting in this great marsh. Drinks and donuts will be provided by Delta Waterfowl. Please respond to this post so we may get an idea of the number attending.

Man I would love to help, but I'll be out of the state that weekend. Are they doing any other projects this spring/summer?
