blonde hen mallard

I fought the cold yesterday and went out and got this blonde hen mallard has anybody else been seeing them around? I'm thinking about getting it done but cant decide, the other pics are from last Saturday we hunted all day and got a 2 man limit had a great day full of mixed ducks

Do you have any better pictures of the hen a guy I know shot one that was really blond very good looking bird.

Farm duck? Lol if its a farm duck I would be surprised, but ok great so be it but I ain't never seen a farm duck that looks like this

Its actually lighter then it looks in the photos

It does show the characteristic's of a blonde bird. I was thinking it still might be to dark in color. However if you say it's lighter then it just may well be. The trophy is in the eye of the beholder. Nice bird! Add it to you collection and mount it up!!! :thumbsup:

Looks like a leucistic hen. Leucism is a genetic condition that prevents normal pigmentation (kinda similar to albinism). Cool bird, and very worthy of the wall. :thumbsup:

Looks similar to the one we got last year. Congrats on the shooting something u just dont see every day. Yes this one will be on the wall for sure.

My dad shot one that looked just like that a few years ago. Not sure what he did with it but it was pretty cool looking. Anytime you bag something unique it's always a good day. :beer:
