Roll Call

Postby Spiraleyes » Wed Sep 05, 2007 6:02 pm

Due to the fact that we recently lost our state sponsored wildlife forum, I'd like to extend a welcome to everyone that finds us here.

Hopefully, we can gather up the lost guys through word of mouth, etc.

This thread is for introductions, and reintroductions (for example you are now using a different screen name that you did on the State forum).

Please keep the posts on topic, so we can use this thread as a reference in the future.

I'll go first:

My name is Jim, I live in Sandy, but I grew up in Lehi.

I'm 29 years old, married, no kids.

I currently attend the University of Utah, I'm a finance major, and I'll be graduating spring of 2008.

I work part time as a cable contractor, where I disconnect people's service when they don't pay. It can be colorful at times, but I really enjoy it.

I love duck hunting, and I try to get out as much as possible when the weather permits.

Just started reloading some fast steel (1750 ft/s). The big booms in the marsh are my shells. I am addicted to shiney guns and shotshell ballistic calculations. Honer got me started in duck hunting a few years ago (there are a lot of people that can say that). Goal for the season is a nice drake canvasback and redhead.

I shoot a Browning Citori, or sometimes a Browning gold. I shoot a little Verona Superposed in the uplands.
Two english setters
I make steel rule dies for a living
I like bird hunting over my setters or decoys and I am one of those crazy fools that likes to take long airplane rides to blow my duck call competatively. It is all fun though, and I have made some good freinds over the years because of it.

Hey everyone, first time here and like what I see.
Im Curtis, 30yrs old, live in West Haven. Married with one daugher and "hopefully" one son on the way. ha
I work for the govt.
I have a golden retriever but still to young to go out. Soon I will have a lab (if I can find one for a good price).
I am a poor bum so I shoot a Stoger but it has worked out very well. Lived in Ut my whole life around the Clinton area. I will be out opening day on my own this year  . My buddy is out of town at the worst time of the year. So if you see the loner out there say "hi" its probably me haha j/k.
