Name is cody. I'm 28, been waterfowl hunting since my dad took me when I was 10 years old. I mostly shagged the decoys and the ducks for those first two years until I was old enough to hunt. My first gun was a new england arms single shot 12 guage, makes sense now why my dad only wanted me to have 1 shot, he was buying the shells, haha.
Im married, have a little boy on the way, and am a school teacher. My wife likes to come with me hunting, however she will not hunt, only watch. I have a chesapeake, name is cooper, wonderful duck dog, best cold weather dog there is. I usually hike out away from everyone to get out to the birds, but now I have a 14' Jon boat w/blind, I may not need to wade thru all that mud.
Where are some good duck spots you guys have found in northern utah? I usually hunt harold crane, public grounds in corrinne, and also ogden bay north run. I hear that Cutler in cache valley is good hunting for honkers. is that true?
