Karl you know I was out there, nailed some nice ones,me and a friend went back to my "honey hole"and spanked some mallards, and a black or two!Can sit there at 6am and 40 big ducks will pound in, and continue to pound in all day!!!And there are three of these connected, and they are still hitting it,I was in my deer stand Sunday and heard them quacking up a storm down there below me!

This spot is really pro-duck-tive in the later part of the season, usually right around rifle season and muzzleloader,so when I shoot my deer early,I still go down there and hunt ducks while my hunting partners hunt deer,or during the week when they are working and it is nice and quiet! There are 3 small beaver ponds all connected, two of them are connected by a dam,the other one feeds the two from a small stream, yet is only 100 yards away,it is a sweat spot, and easy too hunt, and never gets shot off! It is surrounder by woods and corn fields! You are able to wade two of the ponds and the third pond is deep,un-wadeable,so you need to bring your dog, because that is the pond that stays open the longest, and where the ducks stack up! I intend to build three too four blinds on these ponds this summer and hope to be hunting out of them in the fall!
