2011 Stoke!

Postby NW_Vermont » Tue Aug 16, 2011 10:17 am

It's mid August and the itch is coming on.

It's time to design a new boat blind. Last night, we figured out the the ol' 20 ga doesn't fit my 11yo boy anymore, neither do his waders or his parka $$$$!! I smiled when I had him call his grandfather and ask if it was okay to use his 12 ga BPS...

I stopped by my beaver pond this morning and found geese and ducks doing their thing... My first official scout of the season.

It's time! But still, I have no doubt I'll be scrambling the night before the opener...

And so it begins! We have been building duck blinds on private property now for 2 weeks! And have been scouting out places along the lake for possible blind spots! Have had the fever for a good month already! And will still be running around crazy the night before the opener because I will not be ready! Or atleast I will think I am not ready,or there will be that one piece of gear I just have too have that I have forgot about!
