little help needed

Postby SimonG » Sun Sep 25, 2011 10:14 pm

does anyone have a small outboard I can borrow for a couple weeks at the most?

I have a 3 hp on my duck skiff and today coming back from taking a couple youngsters ducking a woman looking at the fall colors drove right into the back of the boat, smashing the lower unit on my motor.

snapped it off at the water intake, bent the drive shaft and shift rod and waterline, busted the waterpump, parts I expect are more than the olod girl is worth, its well over 20 years old ...was a great motor.

there are only a couple times I really need a motor to duck hunt, if anyone has one in the garage they can spare for a few trips? thanks.

That is like the worst thing I have heard in awhile! I would have been sick! I will keep my eye and ears peeled for a small motor for you!

Just spotted this on craigslist. Not sure if it helps you out at all.
