Out of the Ordinary- White Wing Scoter

Postby VtechSkybuster » Wed Nov 23, 2011 6:56 am

Hunted with a couple friends Sunday morning at our favorite late season spot.
Shot a decent bag, not as many birds around as usual, but we got a good shoot. Im hoping this cold weather brings more down.
We shot a few mergs, some whistlers and a White Wing Scoter!
This isnt the first time weve gotten WW Scoters there, but it doesnt happen often.

Anyone else get anything out of the ordinary this year?

P.S. The good lookin dog belongs to CHSAPKS!

They might get my guns, but they're gonna get the bullets first!!

We have killed white wings in Shreveport, LA! Talk about out of the ordinary!
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

Know your target before you pull the trigger.

Duck Hunting is ALL about the bag.

Saw a flock of white-wings about a week ago in the NEK. Took me a while to figure out what they were.

Whistlers arent bad eating if you cook them right, Mergs on the other hand need a little magic (Merger burger).
