I was out sanding the top of my driveway a couple of evenings back and heard a flock of geese fly over. Never heard them this late in the year before.

i live near the lake and use to see flocks fly over. they stay on the open beaches and lake and feed on feilds with drifts.

We still have a flock of geese here that are holding in the river(otter creek) and still fly out to the cut corn fields daily! Not enough Ice and Snow to push them south yet is my guess! And plenty of corn to get because of the flooding from Irene alot of the corn was chopped and left out in the fields because the state said it was unsafe to use as feed for cattle!
