I don't really care if it's on Sat or Wed as long as it's the same every year. That way people can plan on it, take vacation if needed or know when to call in sick  . That duck fever is pretty catchy that time of year I heard.
Lets leave well enoff alone!!!! the opener here has always been on the first sat of oct, they have messed with all the other seasons changing things. I just want to know that my duck hunts aren't going to be at the whim of some burocrat who decided the midle of sept or nov works better for him.
Sorry guys I thought I was on the utah page. I guess I'm gettin older than I want to acknowledge. And as you can tell it doesn't take much to set me goin. Well you fellers have a good and safe hunt this year. :salude: :salude: :salude:
Wensday is nice becuse there is less pressure on the birds for me, but saturday is better becuse i can hunt all day and not have to go to school, although each year my dad lets me skipone day, and it is usually opening day.
I think it works great both ways, it gives everyone a chance to get out there on opening day. Although I think they should stagger it every other year between Wed. and Sat. rather than every third year on Saturday.
