Whistling today!

Boy it was howling today but we went for it on Champlain. Great day but cold wet ass comin in. 2 of us 1 bird shy of 2 man mixed bag limit. Mallards, whistlers, bills and a lone drake teal! Good bit of mallards moving around

good job tuff-n-it out! Figured the mallards would have moved to the lake by now! We are pretty much froze up where I am except for thr river and I just got in from there and only saw 5 blacks! But even with the moving water it is iced up on both edges!

Champlain weater report does not look good for tomorrow either......

Rivers are getting hot down here as everything is freezing up. Saw my first real big flights of fat mallards. I feel like i've been hunting local ducks all season and they were getting very educated. Finally saw some fresh ones yesterday and this morning. Back to a new section of river tomorrow with a mojo and an open choke!
