Where is it? I believe there is a night Island on Champlain. If so, Champlain zone rules would apply.

yeah it's in champlain... I just wanted to know if you can hunt state parks in VT.

I dont think its a problem. The question is when?
If the park is open, for guests you may not want to hunt there. Usually in the fall they will have the gates open, but there will not be any public or guests camping there. Common sense would apply.
Look online at Vt State parks the site may address your question a little bit better.

hunting in state parks

Hunting in state parks is allowed only after Columbus Day I believe and the parks are closed. I would check with the Forests, Parks and Recreation office in Waterbury to be certain or with the local game warden. Knight Island is a state park and would fall under the same rule.
