Five hunts = 25 birds,5 guys; 0,2; 0,2; 2,3; and 10,2; Chittenden County it has been tough a lot of hunting pressure the days we got nothing other hunters beat us to the spot. The birds have been pressured an not consistant in the fields. The water is the place to be now. good luck on the last week.

Chambo, welcome to DHC, where abouts do you hunt in Chittenden County? You dont have to give out any spots, but do you hunt on the Lake or in Fields?
I am from Shelburne originally, and know a lot of guys from Shelburne and Hinesburg that hunt.

Glad to hear the geese are over there, and your getting in to them. My father was saying that there have been guys getting some on the Bay.

chambo32 and I are looking to hunt the Connecticut River duck opener, but we have never hunted the area. We're planning on heading up to scout near the Moore Dam and down towards Barnet area. Would anyone want to take us out opening day in return for a hunt with us?

Not hunting the Connecticut river opener, myself, but I'm sure there are a few guys on the boards that will be.

SkiVt, I would take you out opening day but I'm heading to the bellows falls area. I don't know if I'm going opening day but will for sure be there that first weekend. Don't know much about moore dam area. have heard that there are ducks up that way though. lemme know if you want to come along.

I got 11 in the early season off the Conn. River Zone and 2 more today. Tomorrow is the last day for the river zone so I'm gonna have to start in on them somewhere else.
