Kyle, I am certain on the day I saw those birds it was the second bridge headed north from Burlington, whatever river that is under that bridge,on the south side had open water west of the bridge! The birds were sitting on the ice on the east side of the bridge!

I will google earth the location and be able to tell you what river it is in a minute, okay think it is the river that runs out of Milton to west Milton !

Crazy! I must have missed them, and obviously I'm off on when that froze up! Seriously though the construction guys are still walking across under the bridge, death wish!

That was frozen under the bridge, and it was frozen where the birds were sitting,on the west side of the bridge there is a riffle in the river that was open water and there were not any birds there on our way down,I only saw them on our way back up north!

When does your guys season end, and are they all up North already? Heading to vermont pretty soon...
Give a man a duck... Feed him for a day... Teach him to fowl hunt... Feed him for a lifetime...Teach him in your spot... Learn to hunt a different spot....

Our season closes in April around the 15 th I think, could be the 11 th! We I heard a guy in Caskill Ny said he saw a large flock yesterday and they are expecting a big push tomorrow with the temp hitting 50* and a south wind! So who knows for sure,I know the western side of Ny sees a much larger push than we do,but if the temps do not come up here we will more than likely loose our birds too western Ny! Let's hope not!
A little something to get everyone excited!

I am out scouting daily! And expect to see birds this weekend! With this warm front I think we will be in the birds any day! As soon as I see them you and Lance are on speed dial!

The Snows are here and we pounded 'em. Must have seen 30,000 one afternoon. Only once in my life have I seen so many Snows, Canadas and ducks in one day. From sunrise to sunset, a guy could not open his eyes without seeing birds.

The snows have left the building. Don't think they were here even two weeks.
