You know it's funny that I've spent many hundreds of hours on Lake Champlain the last few years but I don't really know where/how to begin chasing the birds out there. I have a small boat, camo canoe, decoys, etc.
It's just that all the marshy spots in the greater Burlington area are covered up with fixed blinds and I'd hate to screw up someone's morning hunt.
So if anyone around needs a partner I'm a seasoned hunter from Alabama 31yrs old. I'd love a crack at some birds with somebody that knows what's they're doing, and ofcourse would share in all expenses.

I live in Shelburne on Oak Hill Rd behind the small boat exchange. I know this is pathetic but none of my coworkers hunt ducks- And if I told you what I do that fact would probably amaze you(very water oriented job). Figured there might be some guys around who need a hunting partner

I live up in Montgomery now. I do hunt down that way once in a while. I was there opening day. I am heading to Georgia for 6 months or so, so Duck Hunting for me may be done this year.

Now you've got me wondering, what do you do for work?

Can't use my organization's name to solicit favors, but you could call me a "marine safety specialist". i think I'll be fine but here's a question- Do you know where around Burlington to buy avery fast grass or any marsh grass looking stuff to blind my boat? Saw some grass at Gander Mountain in Platts but it didn't match anything on the lake. Thanks for you time.

I'm always looking for people to hunt with; especially during the week. I'm 37 and used to hunt when I was a teen in Arkansas. This is my first year back to duck hunting, so i'm a bit rusty. I have a camo canoe, a few dekes and a couple of spots to share. I live in Burlington. Let me know if you would like to get together.

Quasar...did you check W-mart in williston ? They have camo grass by the truckload right now. You can doctor it up with camo spray paint if you need more color to it.
If I can get my venison early in the season I have t-giving week off and would be happy to take you out.
PM me if that would work

Went back over to Gander MT in Platts and got the fastgrass. And let me tell you- The boat is a work of art. I just might drive around lake next summer and sell margaritas out of it! and I did use one can non-glare green to dull it down a bit

Too late now but maybe next year. I'm always up for hunting with someone new. I too grew up in Shelburne just up the road from Yellodog. Still in the area and whackin' 'em any chance I get. I do a lot of mid week hunting with my odd schedule. Drop me a line.
