This rig sits about 8 feet off the ground...........WHY?

so he can pick wood off the top of that stack in the 2nd photo! :rofl: probably has something to do with an orchard of some type

Thats a good question. Now I'm curious.
I bet it has something to do with his sugar bush, I noticed the pipelines in the woods....either that or he likes to drive around in deep water.

I don't know personally.
Its something I saw driving around.
My guess is somebody has too much time on their hands.

Looks more like a Louisiana shallow water crawfish trawler to me- I was just checking out the Alaska forum of Duck Chat because I'm headed up to Valdez/Prince William Sound for a 2 year tour. Moving in June with my Vermont souvenier aka my wife in tow. Just wanted to thank you again for the awesome hunt last November and I'll be sure to crash one of your threads on the VT forum if we visit her family during the shooting season next year.
