Got some more decoys for sale

Postby HJF » Mon Feb 11, 2008 10:21 am

Cleaning out the basement again. I have 12 Carry-lite magnum goose shell decoys for sale. These are in good shape, body length is 32" long, alot bigger with the heads on. Obviously they are a 2 piece decoy, with 8 feeder and 4 upright heads.
Cabelas wants $160 plus the "double added shipping costs" I am looking for $100.

There is no way I am going to ship these as it would be sky high. Pick up in Rutland , VT or will be able to get them to Laconia, Newport, W. Leb. NH

I also have 12 Flambeau mallards painted up to look (kind of) like goldeneyes. They are about 14" long, 6 drakes/6 hens. You can have them for $20. Same pick up as above. hjfish@comcast.net

Thanks Hank,
It was nice meeting you as well. I will give you an update come September. Last season I just used a few floaters sitting in a cut cornfield along with my buddies windsocks and it worked pretty well so I'm sure these will do fine.
I've never used shells before. Do/have you propped them up on a stick so they're a couple inches off the ground? I've seen folks use them around here before but they just sit them on the ground and this seems rather unrealistic looking.
Later,
Chad

Chad, just put them on the ground, they will be fine. As you can see there is no stake holes on those decoys.
