Who's using a spinner tomorrow?

Postby magogwhacker » Tue Oct 07, 2008 9:27 am

Just curious. I made one years ago and couldn't believe how well it worked the first year or two. Twice I had landing ducks break a cedar shingle wing off of it. As the years have gone by I've used it less and less because I felt like everybody else was using them and the birds became shy of them. On the opener, most of the birds were born this year anyway, so I don't imagine that being shy of them is an issue, but I still probably won't use it. What do other people think?
What? There's open water? Its not cold enough.

i have a baby mojo and i always use it if you think they are getting educated, switch it up with a jerk cord. The spinners just seem to work to good to not use them.
