Hunting accident and its consequences

Anybody know anything about the moose hunter shot this year? I read in the paper that the guy was actively calling when somebody from PA shot him. Victim is alive, but they didn't talk about his condition.

If you count the guy in Williston that was shot in his kitchen by target shooters, that's 2 accidents already this year. I saw an op-ed piece the other day suggesting that all Vermont hunters, regardless of experience or safety record, be required to take a safety course every 5-years. If we don't get our s--t together soon, bad things are going to happen to hunters and hunting.....
What? There's open water? Its not cold enough.
