Went out on last night trying to get into some rockfish on the Potomac, and on the way out I saw 2 groups of buffleheads! Not very big groups, but enough to get me thinking about the divers dropping in the dekes.

Can't wait til November!!! :yes:

How is seeing some buffleheads going to do that for you ? All I'm seeing on open waters black geese .

me and ducksndeer saw some ducks the other day while scouting. Its looking good guys.

Ruddys
pintails
grey ducks
shovlers
and tons of teal.

Just hoping they will hang around.

diver-hunter you said next week like you was going seaduck hunting and it sounded like you was thinking that buffleheads could be taken . I want to get out there next week but I have yet to see a scoter or oldsquaw .

yea, i know what ya mean. i was thinkin of goin out next week scouting, but if im not doin anything else, i figure why not pitch some deeks :mrgreen: i was just happy to hear that buffleheads are down here so i have at least something to watch :toofunny: but yea, i understand what you meant :cool:
