Just came in from the back of my prop with a guy thats going to clear some land for me.3 huge oaks have fallen since the rain started!
He told me that the winds from hurricane Isebel had shaken the roots loose and the roots eventually die and in turn the tree falls.I woulda thought this to be bologna, but he's the 2nd person to tell me this.I had just finished cleaning up the last 2 of 7 huge oak trees that had fallen from Isebel. The bad thing about it is you dont hear no roots snap, they just fall!
Kinda gives you the willys, Being out there in the dark!

Yea, I lost a bunch of big oaks (red & white) during that storm and still have a bunch of leaners. The thing that gripped me is 'that big old would fall and take out another oak...and miss two gum trees :pissed: :pissed: Not a pretty site
