Well boys I am back. Had GREAT time. Saw lots of ducks and geese and spend some time with family in LA. The contest was good. I hit a bad note in the first round and did not move on but it was a great learning tool. We are already making plans for a new call and next year. A few more points and I would have made it to the second round. There might have been a few nerves mixed in there? I did real good and learned that I can call with the best as long as I do not squeek the call. Not bad for a rookie comp caller who has been doing this for 3 months. Most all of these guys have been at this for 20 years or more. I will have one of those trophies one of these days. Thanks for the support. Rick
If you can't run the call you have, don't !! Get some lessons, it will help us all.
