Skeet ranges in or around tidewater area

Postby gthompson » Sun Feb 12, 2006 7:16 pm

Hey everyone. I'm realatively new to this area. Actually I've been here for about a year. But I'm still having a hard time finding a place to shoot skeet, trap or continental. I know there is a range and club at Oceana NAS. I'm in the military so I have access. I don't want to spend an hour in traffic just to shoot though. Anyone know of a club around Hampton or Newport News? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry friend but there is only two spots that I know of and they are the one at Oceana NAS and Old forge sporting clays in Providence Forge, VA . I have shot at both and Old Forge is best imho , see for yourself by doing this http://www.duckhuntingchat.com/viewtopic.php?t=15774

cut,
Anything to shoot. I just got my O/U back from the smithy and I've been itching to shoot. Lord knows I'm not taking that thing out in the marsh.
