Well, not too much longer to wait now...... Are you going to be setting in 'de corn" waiting for the doves to buzz ya...or will ya be looking for 'de big bad" blacknecks :umm: It's time to start thinkin bout :hammering: time :thumbsup:

Well, we are about a month out now from "killing time"..... You guys ready? :umm: it's about time for some scouting , all my deks are ready and it's almost time to put the blind back on my "fishing boat" and turn it into "a killing machine" I will be good to start pulling "de huntin stuff" out :hammering: :hammering: :thumbsup:

hey cut un and all... i been in raleigh doing the summer school thing.. i been over at red drum tackle webiste talking a little fishing but i really just got back on the computer more since i am in raleigh and REALLY bored... but im excited about this year.. my hunting bud just left for army ranger school so i may be running solo this year but its gonna be fun nd im looking forward to talking/ hunting some birds

did some scouting today. 100 geese and some black ducks in the field. I am pumped up. one more month.

I plan on dove hunting and getting the dog tuned up. However if I get a chance to whack some geese I may do both.

thats cool to see some blacks in the fields.. in all my life hunting in va and nc i have never seen any ducks out in the fields around here

yeah i think im gonna dove hunt on saturday and then go to the state game... then try to get them geese monday morning and doves agian in the afternoon... not sure if we find some geese ill probably go saturday too.. dont know if i can wait till monday.. what about you?

Don't really have any spots to smack the doves so I'll be chasing the big black birds. I have a few spots picked out and I hope invite a few home for dinner :salude:

went today and did a little scouting. saw roughly 100 geese coming in the field for breakfast. I hope they don't mind me sittin in on thier breakfast come opening day :laughing: . It can't get here quick enough. I'm about to have a break down waiting. :help:

It's starting to look like the only corn I'll see this res. goose season will be "canned corn for lunch" The eq. at the work /20 is falling down around my ears and "gotta have it" is the flavor of the day. I see lots of O.T. in my near future..... Looks like I'll be eating stake instead of goose again this year :pissed:
