The Woodies should be lovin all this rain!!!

I have a little hidden spot that should be filling up with water with all this rain. It should fill up with water and with all the oaks, the woodies should go crazy. Maybe the early season duck will be something to write home about

I hear that. I have seen more ducks in Northern VA than an other year prior.

yeah some of my timber holes were so dry they had turkeys in them last year but i went this year and we got about 8 inches to a foot of water.. early season cant get here soon enough... on a random note i wish you could shoot woodies during this teal season... i am leaving in an hour a half after class and heading for the coast and i am unsure about the teal but it seems in the past years the wood ducks are everywhere but you can do anything about it... ohh welll

I have not seen a teal yet. I am hoping that they magically appear tomorrow morning.
