VERYY NICE slab in the middle there! i Have never had anyone teach me the secrets of Crappie fishing so many of the ones I catch are by catch when throwing crank baits. Caught a 3.65lb citation one time though to seal the deal on my freshwater master angler

Thanks man. I wouldn't mind catching some of those saltwater fish you got on those pictures. Don't make out to salt water much.

IB you been on fire this year! I've had 75-100 honkers flying over the house for a month every night, unfortunately the X is a spot I can't hunt.

thanks PP. I know that feeling, most of the geese we get a shot on are passing on their way into no shoot zones. Ive got a couple fgood blind spots me and my buddies pick off a dozen or two from the same 5 flocks every year.. been doing it for years now. This year resident goose numbers seem REALLY down in my neck of the woods.

As for the fish, we have been steady catching Fat drum from 24 -32 inches every outing and with the water temp cooling I think the Specks will start making a better showing finally. Started tagging for VIMS too so will be interesting to see where the lucky ones end up being caught again. got over 100 tagged drum, flounder, cobia, and specks out there!

Thanks IB. The bird numbers this year have seemed to be really really low. Have yet to hunt a field with more than 50 geese in it I don't know what's going on this year. Couldn't find em to hunt today so hopefully I'll find some soon. Nice fish, BTW.

You must be fishing the ocean front , all the cobia are stacking up on their way south.... Good year for them though, we ended up with 43 for the year, no slobs but plenty of 50 inch fish. Specks have really turned on the last two weeks and still catching 10-15 nice reds in the evenings but they are getting harder to find too.
