This has nothing to do with duck hunting but a need for votes is needed for the Mathews Maritime Foundation boat the "PEGGY".
The voting ends Aug. 29 2013 and it's looking like a pair of shoes is going to win and I'm sorry but that would be a shame . As of today the shoes are
7,884 Wilton House Museum (Richmond, VA)
Pair of 19th century Wedding Shoes Worn by President James Madison’s Sister, Sally Catlett Madison, 1803
and the boat Peggy is at
1,172 Mathews Maritime Foundation (Mathews, VA)
“Peggy” of New Point, VA, Deadrise Boat; 1925

Yes the boat will be in the top ten but out of all 16 things the boat is the one that is the most endangered due to the fact that she is in the water with only paint a few men and the love of God protecting her.

It's a good bet that the other 15 things are protected from everything along with countless other old things in museums across the state . Where the Peggy will tour the bay taking the museum to the ports .
Thanks for reading this and please take the time to vote for a old girl on her 4TH job working the bay .

 LD
