Tropical low / nor'easter is going to push the tides up. Anybody here hunt Soras in the fresh tide marshes?

we tried for rails two saturdays ago when we had a flood tide, didnt see a one but heard one or two. Think its is just a hair early on them. I could be wrong though no clapper expert

There will be more killed this week than there will be all year. Nice shooting Rick. The skiff is making its way to work tomorrow for a looooong lunch. :lol3:

You've got that right Doug! We punished em again today....high tide was up into the woods. Found bunches of 20-30 birds at a time sitting on the high spots.

Some of the guys took a long lunch yesterday and found plenty of gunning. The lower shore seems to be about shot out though. 18 trucks at the ramp yesterday.
