Fixed all up with the trimmings-
We're going to dip this succulent stuff into some melted down Plum Jelly, w/Port wine in it-

Makes a puppy pull a Freight Train :hi:

No.
No details.

Not until you show me your Crappie/Papermouth honey hole :lol3: :hammer:

Hope everyone has some luck tomorrow, (heard it's supposed to rain)

Stuff Woodducks and Teal w/tangerines salt -n-pepper inside out, and wrap in bacon on the outside.
Smoke with mesquite chips for a while on the smoker.
Take some plum jelly, melt down the whole jar in a saucepan, and add 1/2cup port wine. Bring to a boil, simmer a few minutes.
Put in a dipping bowl.
Place smoked Woodduck on a bed of wild rice.
Dip duckmeat in sauce.
Eat bacon too.

Go apechit afterwards

Good luck with that!
There's something about a mans' shed that a woman can't stand- it's organized. For some reason they're not happy until they can throw some of their junk in there so you have to step over it to get to your stuff :lol3:

Swamp,

It's been slim here too. Only one woodrow yesterday in shootin range.

A little better today, one teal, one woodrow. Nothing like normal, too much water is all I can figure, birds are well dispersed.

I hear it's gona clear up, tuesday when I am back at work. One more day, hopefully fortunes turn.

I hear ya'll, it wasn't very good.
The info logged in the mental rolodex over the years has it that when there's this much rainfall they can go anywhere they want to in the swamps, instead of coming to the main part of it.

That- and the fact that most of the time ducks just don't move very well in heavy rainfall. Minus the rain, it sure was a good wind for Duckhuntin' though
A disappointment Thurs. and Fri. for sure.

But,..duckseason came in .. and it was GREAT to be there.
Killed 3 in 3 days
Wouldn't have missed it for anything :grooving:

... see the tide go down! Its very annoying when your whole life revolves around the tide, cant' get out, can't get back home, driving thru it when theres no option.
We're not down here in the blind playing baby house!
