I'm not sure if the workshop weekend is better at making supper dads or kid pro's but I do know that you both will end the last day wishing it was a week long . There is a good chance that the smile on the boy will flare every bird he sees the week after . The one on one that is given each kid or for that much each participant is worth 10 guided hunts . The 4-H center and every meal is top notch with that hunting lodge feeling . I know of one boy that went through the workshop decoy class went home and asked for the materials and tools for caring and took first place in the Jr. div. at RRWS contest .
Hope to see you there !!!

I'll second what Lewdog said.
According to the surveys submitted by every participant the past three years, the participants were very happy. BTW, the surveys are submitted by the participants before they left the workshop on Sunday. Surveys are given to the participants after their last class and collected before the last meal is served on Sunday.

OOPPs, forgot to add, an additional decoy making & painting class will be one of the free night time classes offered. This type of activity was popular at the Hunters' Skills Workshop this past weekend at Holiday Lake 4H.

Here is a gunning Black Duck that was done by one the participants this past weekend.

The staff of Holiday Lake 4H will be contacting you hopefully soon. I sent you a PM in regards. From what I can recall, participants have been able to attend their first choice of preferred classes.

The workshop is only a few weeks away. :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

I've already have made a couple trips to Holiday Lake carrying gear & equipment needed for the event. Funny thing happen last year, local birds were found early in the morning swimming in the decoys.
