The only way i'd have killed one today is if it had tried to steal my rake  :toofunny:

lol. well i walked around for about 3 hours, and didnt see any deer....i kinda wish i woulda bought some small game broadheads at bass pro the other day because i saw so many squirrels it wasent even funny. i was kinda tempted to shoot em with my deer broadheads, but kinda figured it would suck if i shot a squirrel and scared this big buck ive had my eye on for the past couple years. but hey, still had an excellent time, its huntin

Finally got a chance to slip out behind the house this evening.... just been so busy. Around 5 p started to see deer moving around in 'de woods" and before long had does slipping along coming out of the swamp headed to my plot. Next came a spike followed by a small 4 or 6pt. The bigger bucks horns were real dark and could not really get a good look for a 'head count".... Could have killed either buck but looking for one as big or bigger that the one that I took of "my place" last year. He's around here and soon he will make that one mistake  and when he does, I'll be all over him :salude:
