Yakima hunter,

I'll second the tips from Otto.

Skagit Hdqtrs. is reached by taking the Conway Exit off I-5 and then following the PUBLIC HUNTING sign off Fir Island Rd.

Welts or the Samish Unit is reached by taking the Bow Hill Exit off I-5; going W. through Bow and Edison out onto the road to Samish Island. You will see the parking lot at the sharp turn. REMINDER: The Welts/Samish Unit is a 15 shell limit area.

Good luck and post up your results.
