Postby SilverLakehunter » Thu Aug 24, 2006 5:49 pm

Im buying another shotgun this weekend ( just cant have enough) I have been looking at the mossberg 835 ulti-mag....but am having a hard time straying from my rem870's. Which one should I go for ......add another 870 with a 28inch barrel to the collection or go with a 835...this is the first 28inch barrel gun im buying the rest I have are 26.

I too would stick with the 870; Remington makes a 3 1/2" Mag. version.

Barrel length is really a personal choice issue.

if you already have 870's and are looking for something different, i'd go with the mossy or a nova

You probably all ready made your purchace by now, but I'd vote for another 870 or a Nova.

why not try something new if you already have 2 pumps> maybe a auto, SXS or a OU? you can find cheap ones...
If you love rems try the remington spartan autoloader, its $350

SLH.. I'm glad you went with the Mossberg.. Have you shot it yet? I wouldn't mind trying one out myself for a good back-up.

havent shot it yet hopefully soon. i think i'll like it...i like the one i already have but it has a 26in barrel and i cant get used to it. so i went with the 28 as a main gun.
