Second deer, archery doe, Spokane north 1050.
Going to have to start knocking on doors now to try and find some land to hunt.
Being from the South and being able to take multiple deer, my one from last year didnt last long and the freezer needs more meat. This west coast hunting thing, for big game, is odd...One day I'll figure it all out.

It seems no matter where I go online I'm reminded of getting skunked on tags this year. :fingerhead:

Congrats to all of you who drew tags!

I wonder if Montana or Idaho have any tags left?

I got skunked as well.... Maybe we should have an "I got skunked" party at the cabin.

Let me check some maps. Might be able to get you some intel. I hunted 30 and 41 the adjacent units.
I think I know some good state access in the NE corner of 47.

Sounds good. I have hunted the unit a couple of times but always looking for advice.

I won't be able to take Jr. on the antelope hunt because of school but he and his sister will be on a few deer hunts with me this year.

I find it strange that so many of the draw hunt dates coincide with general season dates. I don't know if this is a way to prevent capitalizing on both for the people who get drawn or what. It's got to be a logistical nightmare to schedule all those hunts with 3 different hunt methods and the bazillion different hunts to choose from. Maybe it's just a way to simplify the process. But in my ideal world, the special hunts wouldn't overlap with general seasons. At least not by much.

Anyone know anything about Colombia Plateau Wildlife Management Area? I just got a call from them saying I got picked at their last meeting for access to hunt deer and elk there in September.

Not selected all the way around. Not surprising seeing as I only put in with 1 point. Lousy state!
