Skagit is the area since the guy coordinating lives there and knows the area. Nothing wrong with one of the eastsiders setting up and earlier flotilla hunt if they want to.

Ok so this thread needs a little reviving. Does anyone who is actually interested in participating familiar with headquarters? I've never hunted it so I know nothing about it. Could we feasibly hunt a bunch of guys in layouts? Any info helps.

We talking 12-14 people at this point? Never hunted it, but have done some scouting there. There are some large ponds, and with a group that large I'd gotta think we'd literally take up most of one, especially if every brings a couple dozen decoys.

We could always split up into groups of three or four. Hunting 12 guys at once in one spot would be a trick.

I have Tue/Wed off and a Momarsh Fatboy DP. If anyone is interested in teaming up and hunting 3-4 layouts on one of those days hit me up.

For those of you that don't know the area, it used to be a pheasant release site. They broke the dikes out and most of the old barley fields are now flooded. I use to hunt pheasant there a lot so I know the layout of the property pretty well but have not hunted for ducks since they did that. I hunt out in the bay in front of there quite a bit and it's been spotty.
