They seriously need to think about opening a swan season up there. Those things are just plain cocky the way they fly over you at 15ft. They've lost their fear of humans, it won't be long until they start eating peoples pets or something worse. :biggrin:

I know they're not open, but does anybody know what the final verdict was on the quality hunt swan fields? Scrapped it this year? Forever?

I know there was a couple times I freaked the people I hunted with last year out. I'd pull up on a swan at 15'. I'm sure a load of BB to the head would've broken a neck.

I jobshadowed a game warden last year and he said the only reason we cant is because of some "swan association" or something along those lines. He said that game wardens and plenty of other people have tried to get tags out there but the "swan association" is preventing progress. :no:
