Didnt happen ... reason for no pics ... saw cans ... saw reds ... but they wanted in the 60, 000 coot spread ... and not my 100 decoy diver spread

Sure you'll do better than me, kind of reminds me of Charlie Browns,"all I got was a rock,"... All I got was a bufflehead! Good luck guys. Redhead drake is on my bucket list, never got one, Tri-City is a ways from me lol.

Well I SAW your listing on monday... :)

Would've loved to have been able to learn about river hunting. Just started this year - up in Moses Lake - and have a very modest 5 birds to my name. Oddly, they're all different species. I'm the pokemon of beginning duck hunters.

Hope the trip was great. Would absolutely love to hear about future spots! Can't get a whole lotta days off work, but I'd try.

Incidentally while your group was out on the river, I was out on the Moses Lake spillway before work and got 1 buffle and 1 shoveler. Again, firsts all round. Boy that buffle plucked EASY! Can't wait to make an assessment on its culinary pros/cons.
10 Teal, 6 Mallard, 5 Shoveler, 4 Pintail, 3 Coot, 1 Widgeon, 1 Bufflehead, 1 Canadian Goose, 1 Hooded Merganser

I'd burn the whole day just to get a shot at one nice bull can!
Company was good, look forward to giving it another go soon.

BTW, I put some more thought into that coot collecting bow mounted cattle guard for my boat. Those coots need to be thinned out around here!

Once again lets put a massive dhc coot hunt together limits all around.
May your birds fly low and your aim be true!
