Heading south

Postby ohtajj » Wed Dec 04, 2013 7:25 pm

Well, my brother has been trying to get me to head down to Oregon and hunt Sauvies Island with him and my dad for the past few years. Looks like they drew a good blind next weekend and it may work out for me to make the trip down and hunt with them.

Anybody ever hunted there? Is it worth the 5 hour trip down to turn around and come back the same day?

On a good draw it's worth the hunt. Especially if your willing to spend the night in line.

Man, looks like I might be making the trip!
He will be there early and I would head there straight from work and probably get down there to join him around 2am.
