Has anyone noticed the huge push of birds into Skagit County? Tornado's over corn? Open fresh water?

All the ducks are way out on the bay. Not too many coming in. Met a few guys at the launch today pulling the boat out. 3 out of the 4 boats came back empty and said they had no ducks flying.

I guess you didn't see fresh open water. They need to feed and get fresh water. In this cold ? They roost on the bays LOL :sarcmark:

We are seeing plenty of birds in large groups working the big water down here. All the lakes and fields are frozen up rock solid. The birds are able to find food in the rivers here.

Lots of birds down. I have been seeing the large flocks inland in various fields. They are more noticeable when the eagles pop them all up at once. The salt is definately loaded up as well. No shortage of birds from Skagit to Blaine.
Cut Um!
Real ducks don't have a competition sequence they follow! Hint, hint!
