Better Day

Still a little slow but I did see lots of Birds just to far to shoot. Used my Remington Spartan 453 not even a Hiccup. Forgot how much I like to shoot that gun. Take the gps cords if you want their just not at the pond. Learned my lesson..Image
Don't say a word about my dog being fat other wise you can fetch your own duck!!!

Dang man, they were obviously pointed in the right place. Bet the dog didn't have to chase them down.

Had a nice surprise while I was hunting. As I watched the pond I heard a few sticks snap behind me and a herd of elk walked by at about 30yds. One cow was collard and didn't see any bulls except for a spike. They didn't even act is if I was there. I usually see a herd or two in a field or a unit while heading to a pond but haven't had them walk in on me.
