The appropriate answer is "Dial back the OCD".
I'll see you there!

"DHC SPORTING CLAYS SHOOT- INAUGURAL Toolman Invitational" is the proper answer.

Although we may have to change it from "invitational" to "memorial" if Tool Man doesn't survive his vacation.

I called the range and we are good to go on shooting and grilling.
31 cents a target, shoot as many as you like.
I asked about ammo and was told $7 something a box so it makes sense to bring your own.

So who is bringing the barbecue and what are we gonna put on it?

I say we just do dogs or burgers to keep it simple.
2 packs of costco polish dogs or just a bunch of 1/3 pound burgers
Chopped or grilled onions, mustard, ketchup, relish etc
24 buns
Plates
Forks
Napkins
A container or 2 of potato salad or something
Couple 12 packs of pop or water

I'll bring the dogs and buns

10% chance of rain and 61 for the high! See you there!

When? April 12th 2014 11am-3pm Plan on arriving at 10:30 at the latest as it takes a while to gather everyone up, pay and receive your clay keys. If you are habitually late, make it 10:00am

Where? Seattle Skeet and Trap Club http://www.sstclub.com/

How Much does it cost? http://www.sstclub.com/SST-TriFold3b.pdf

What are we shooting? Seattle Skeet and Trap Club has a 13 stand sporting clays course.

What to bring? A clean, well functioning shotgun, ear protection, minimum 5 boxes of target loads and a good attitude. A case may be more appropriate, you can always shoot up your leftover shells over the off season.

Who is invited? If you are reading this, you are invited. Feel free to bring along friends and family members as well, just include them as a +1 on your response to this thread so I know how many to expect.

Why? We've done this before and had a blast, you will too. This is a shoot for fun, not prizes. The goal is to get together and put names to faces, improve our shooting and have a good time.

Weather disclaimer: I'm driving 3 hours to this shoot, I will be shooting rain, shine, hail or snow. Bring some goretex, it's Spring time in Western Washington...anything could happen.
