Looking to book a guided sea duck hunt this year. Would appreciate any recommendations you folks may have or guides to avoid.

Thanks

There's really not many options. Google will have that information for you though.

Exactly. Just run a google search and you will get the only options that exist. We don't have very many sea duck guides out here. I believe there used to be three and I think there are one or two left doing that work. Both are on the Olympic Peninsula at the far north end as I recall. Google it up and book soon. I hear the main guy doing the guiding is very busy and booked quite a ways out.

What sea ducks are you looking to harvest?

If you want to hunt sea ducks in Washington, this is the best move you can make. http://www.waduck.org/members.htm

If you are still in Vancouver, I'm sure there are more than a few guys in that chapter that can point you in the right direction.

I am in Vancouver and hunt sea ducks. I recommend going to a Wwa meeting and get to know people. The monthly meetings are held at 7 pm last Thursday of the months at the Vancouver trap club on 76th street.

I fully recommend Capt Dave Drewry of Peninsula Sportman. Dave is a stand up guide that books for only three day hunts. He also has a very nice resort.
If you attend a banquet put on by the Lower Columbia Chapter of the WWA this year they will be auctioning off a one day trophy Sea Duck hunt for two.

I will be at the next meeting. I also won the banquet trip last year. It was a great experience and time.
